The 1 Mukhi Rudraksha is said to be associated with Lord Shiva. It is believed to destroy sins, including very horrible ones like ‘Brahma hatya’ (killing a Brahmin), and bring knowledge of the Supreme. The wearer will be master of his senses and can practice Para-Tatva, bringing him to bliss of external experiences and to indescribable bliss, as well the ultimate liberation (moksha) after death. The Rudraksha can be worshipped anywhere and Lakshmi is supposed to arrive, bringing wealth. Chapel is considered auspicious; this will bring the wearer spiritually closer to Shiva, but the bead can also bring materialistic advantages. The Rudraksha has said to improve the powers of concentration and internal peace.
